It's not often the days where I get to mix and match fun prints & colors on the daily but the perfect moment to experiment with mixing fashion is definitely during NYFW.
One aspect that really stood out to me the first time I ever attended fashion week, was this exact point. The point that streetstyle is looked at from a different perspective than the everyday wearable outfits, it's looked at almost like art. If you would be an average spectator on the street during a fashion week, you'd probably think most outfits were crazy & inventive looking! But the reality is, most pieces worn as streetstyle, are so perfectly put together that they end up looking just as high end and chic as they should. So this time around (my second time at NYFW) I already had ideas of my own inspired look.
This is my take on streetstyle, I wanted to add currently trending pieces (like the star print top) with pieces that I wouldn't normally wear everyday (like the clear boots & metallic satin skirt). Side note: remember that star print dress I wore back in some previous posts? It was such a hit, and I had to include some more starry looks! Anyways, to tone it down (just a little- because boring is never fab!)I added my favorite distressed denim jacket at the moment. I really feel like I've styled this jacket in so many ways, and it always ends up looking differently with every outfit.
