Tribal Bodysuit'n

Bodysuit: c/o D'or | Skirt: c/o D'or | Shoes: Just Fab (Sold Out) (I love these & these)

My obsession with bodysuits is still happening & on the rise. I really like investing in pieces that I can re-use on certain occasions and style completely differently.... and that's exactly why I love bodysuits. By the way, this is the same print JLO wore when she hosted an award show this past year. I think she's the reason the tribal & bodysuit trend is one of the biggest for the season!

As for the heels, if you've kept up with my blog for a while you'd know how much I love Just Fab. These were in the $60 range, but I purchased them for just $9......Yup, that's correct. Unfortunately, they sold out right away since they launched for their spring collection, but I have linked some other favorites above.

Until next post,

Tassel + Fringe

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Top & Bottom: Maruchi  | Shoes: Schutz (Sandal version here) (Wedge version here)

Photography: Christine Michelle

Can anyone say tassel fiesta?! This little number has so much energy & color, and I'm totally loving it. After attending several fashion weeks this season, it was obvious that the most impactful staple(s) for the spring/summer seasons ahead was going to be the tassels & fringe. Most of the collections included these two details in their pieces.

By the way, if you're wondering about these shoes......I know, I nearly had a heart attack when I saw them. Schutz happens to be one of my favorite shoe brands, and meanwhile in LA they had a special pop-up boutique event in which I attended (this is where I spotted out these babes).  They happen to be limited edition for their spring collection, soooo...I'd say act quick! I've linked them above.

Until next post,

I'm so excited to be sharing my first (out of many) California posts with this look! In my mind of crazy ideas, I some day envisioned having a photoshoot in the middle of no where.....the desert to be exact. As a blogger, you always have to be coming up with continuous content for your readers & audience & I'm always ten steps ahead when it comes to creating content for you all! It honestly takes a village to make all this happen, and I couldn't be more grateful for those on my team that make my dreams a reality right before my eyes. By the way, I was so lucky to witness one of the only spots in the world that contain the famous Joshua Trees seen above!

Since I knew ahead that this location was a spot for one of my outfit shoots, I wanted to style something sleek. Even though its already spring, there is never anything wrong with wearing a LBD! My favorite part about this dress is the high slit it has. Remember how I said I was 5'1? Well yeah....this high slit detail gives the illusion of longer legs (what every petite girl dreams of). I've been so into these belts recently, they really tie an outfit like this one all together while adding the perfect amount of detail. Best part, this bad boy is only $15! Go snag yours today here (oh and get the white one too!).

Until next post...

Tux REMIX

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Tuxedo Romper: Nasty Gal (On Sale!) | Shoes: Steve Madden  | Bag: c/o Romwe (Sold Out)

Photography: Christine Michelle

I'm finally back from the west coast, and so happy to be home. I had originally planned on publishing this post before I headed out to LA.....But with the outfit packing, and everything that comes along with traveling for fashion week, my mind was just on another level of busy! With that said, I am beyond excited to start releasing the content that was shot in la la land + coverage of LA Fashion Week. You guys are going to love it... (I hope!)

Anyways, I really wanted to post this look because to me, it's a classic staple any woman should have in their closets. In the past, I've gotten a lot of requests & questions regarding work wear attire. Who said dressing up for the office had to be boring? Now, PSA....this definitely pertains to the type of office environment & job you withhold (dressing according to your job requirements is always a must) I absolutely love versatile tuxedo inspired pieces. Other than being ridiculously chic, they serve the purpose of transforming from day to night. This is a piece I'd wear for the work day, and then simply play it up for the night time.

(p.s) I'm working on getting back the little tool I had been using in previous posts, where It would let you shop the look directly from the blog post. It's so much better!

I really missed you all! Until next post,

Florals + Crochet

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Dress: Choies (love this + this) | Shoes: Local Boutique (Similar here) | White Denim Jacket: The Limited

Photography: Christine Michelle

It must be spring......All I've literally been wearing these past couple of weeks is white crochet, linen, and florals! When I received this dress, I posted a little sneak peek of it on my Snapchat and I got so many questions about it.

I found this gem off Choies, but I have linked some other similar styles that I love above. Whether you're going to brunch with the girls, or even if you're a bride to be, I think this would be the perfect little dress for your bridal shower! To make this dress more day time appropriate, I threw on a white jean jacket (in which I only wear in the spring and or summer).

I'll be headed to LA in two days to attend some of the fashion week events, and I'll be shooting so many amazing looks over in la la land. I can't wait to share! Make sure to keep up with my Instagram & Snapchat (prissytorres) for inside coverage. Until next post..

Cotton Candy

| OUTFIT DETAILS |

Choker Bodysuit: Fashion Nova | Jeans: Forever 21 | Bucket Bag c/o Forever 21| Shoes c/o Crème De La Cruz

All I have been wearing lately are bodysuits! And I cannot get over the ones that come with a choker. There's something just so comfortable about throwing a bodysuit on and just picking a bottom to go with it. In my opinion, I think Fashion Nova has the best selections for bodysuits for any occasion. If you've been looking for the perfect one make sure to check them out. When I shot this look recently, I think I just wanted to be cotton candy for the day and just decided to go for it (who cares right?) But seriously, pastels are obviously a trend for spring and never fear mixing them together!

As you may have noticed, I'm totally channeling a brand new vibe & fresh feel . This hair cut definitely got me inspired for more change (personally and professionally) !  Everyday I am learning how to embrace more of myself and bringing out my style in everyway I possibly can without having anyone else's opinion in the back of my mind. Love who you are!
