Since the start of fall is already among us it's needless to say that the western vibe is having an epic moment (my non tanned skin is also having a moment as you can see haha). Anyways, along with the fringe, suede, and the ribbed materials we might as well pretend to be Pocahontas in the 70's because these trends are the must haves for this season.

I snagged this fringe dress from a mega sale that was going on at a local boutique, and would you believe me if I told you it was under $30?? Because it totally was! Like I mentioned in a previous post, there's so many different affordable options out there for the "in season" looks that wont hurt the wallet. I wanted to go a little more day time with this look, so that's why I styled this with my new favorite flats from Spin Gallery but you can totally pair it up with a suede heel as well.

What are some of your must haves for this fall?

Until next post, Xo

I'm so in love with this fall look! And best part, it's under $100. Thanks to Shop Saule I was able to style this special night time look at an affordable cost. It's really easy these days to find nice pieces to wear for a special evening event at a low cost because of all the ranges of options.

If you have been following my blog for a while, you know how much I love midi skirts (just because I'm very petite and it does my figure well). With that said, you may also know how much I adore versatile pieces. Even though this midi skirt is on the fancier side, I plan on also styling it with a tucked in denim top or even a simple white tank.  For me, midi skirts are such an essential to have in my closet. They really dress up any type of look. As a personal preference I always love giving my fall looks a dark edge to them.Take a risk and don't be afraid of dressing up outside of your comfort zone!

Until next post! Xo

21 Days of Beauty

21 days of beauty is back! (All makeup junkies rejoice) I am thrilled to be partnering up with Ulta Beauty & People Style Watch once again to bring you the inside scoop and review on the last few days of this exciting 21 day sale. For those who don't know, this is Ulta's version of the"Semi annual sale" with tons of special discounts, events, and gifts for twenty one days straight. OH and did I mention free shipping? The month of September has the best beauty deals around, and this is one not to miss.

Even though this sale is sadly coming to an end on September 26th I wanted to review and let you know my thoughts on 3 specific products that came right out of this sale. I really love beauty posts as you all may know, because I get to share with you my opinions & advice on products So lets get started!

A baked foundation that is infused with antioxidants such as Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts. This Balance & Bright foundation is baked for 24 hours and made without any additional fillers that many other foundations carry.

Pros:
  • Powder foundation. Easy to carry around in your makeup bag for touch ups through out the day.
  • Very color correcting. I usually have some red in certain places on my face like around my nose and mouth. This foundation really covered up the redness and gave my skin a more natural looking color.
  • SUPER light weight. Once you apply this product on your face it will literally feel like air, and it doesn't leave any greasiness. With this product you can touch your face 100+ times in the day and it wont leave any residue on your fingers.
Cons:
  • Provides very little coverage. This foundation/powder is not a full faced coverage type foundation. I applied it with a stippling brush (as seen above) and I really did not see any coverage and my blemishes were still visible. This is the type of product I'd use if I'm on the run and don't really feel like wearing makeup.
  • More of a powder instead of an actual foundation

Just like a BB Cream, but with the extra benefits. This beauty balm lets you skip foundation on the days you don't feel like wearing any. This product hydrates, primes, and protects with an SPF of 20 with ingredients that help inhibit skin DNA damage.

Pros:
  • This product is EVERYTHING its played out to be.
  • It's like a tinted moisturizer but it gives more coverage.
  • Oil Free
  • Hydrating
  • Primes. Can be applied before foundation, and it'll make your makeup last longer throughout the day or night

A mascara that enhances the appearance of your lashes and primes them at the same time. This is a multitasking mascara gel that has tint that darkens, lengthens, and strengthens your eye lashes throughout time.

Pros:
  • Very smooth and sleek. Doesn't create clumping.
  • Strengthens eyelashes & length. You can really see a difference after like a week of use.
  • Gives me HUGE volume.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and until next post, XO

Welcome back to the blog! Sorry for the mini hiatus, but I'm back and I have some exciting upcoming content for you all! And, keep reading down below for a special announcement.

It's my favorite time of the year, FALL is finally here! Although, I may be a little bias just because I'm a fall babe (October specifically) I just love when this time comes around and when the pumpkin spice lattes are finally among us (I know, I'm a total "white girl"). Anyways, todays look is the new fall craze, suede! Who knew that suede would make such a come back statement? And, I'm so beyond happy that  the 70's trend has stuck around! By the way, it's obvious that suede is really warming, and even though we are at the start of autumn the temperature here in Miami is nothing below 90 degrees. I can't wait till it gets chilly out so I can sport some more suede around.

For the exciting news, for a couple of months now I have been working on a special project. Specifically, a new category coming soon to the blog.......The Beauty Muse! I have always shared the same passion for beauty that I do for style. I have been testing certain beauty posts on my social media pages and the feedback has been great! I'm so thrilled to start bringing beauty, hair, makeup, and skin (video) tutorials to the blog along side Youtube. Stay tuned for some more updates and news on when The Beauty Muse goes live.

As always, thanks for stopping by and until next post!
