Happy June! There's nothing I love more than a co-ordinate set, especially a barbie pink one. I guarantee if you walk into my closet right now you'd find just a section for co-ordinates! I wanted to try out a new bolder look for this post, since that's really been describing my mood lately. I think women should be confident, bold, and strong, and so that's why I chose to incorporate a steel wall into this shoot, because we should all be like a steel wall; sleek, powerful, and always with an edge..

Anyways, I'm pretty sure everyone loves co-ordinates for the reason being that you can always wear the pieces separately or together and no one will ever notice. Diva Boutique has a wide range of sets to offer, and so affordable which I love.

Now onto the glasses.....I've found a new obsession with hoarding sunglasses (yes, its a problem) but  when you have stores such as The Sunglass Spot, it makes it hard not to have a fabulous collection. For me, the cat eye is my signature "go to" style, its an endless classic.

I'm so excited to share with you all that thankfully I have been offered the opportunity to take over The Sense Beach House Hotel this upcoming weekend, and I cannot wait for you to see what I have in store! It will be a weekend full of summer fun, and of course blogging.  I will be handling the hotels social media channels, and capturing every moment alongside my photographer and partner in crime Danielle. Stay tuned!

I really hope you enjoyed this look, and as always, thank you for reading!

Romper: via Marshalls (Similar here) | Sandals: Chiffino Shoes | Sunnies: c/o Sunscape

I hope everyone has had a restful and fun memorial weekend! Today's post is short, but I wanted to quickly recap this fab find from Marshalls. As you may know, I shop everywhere and anywhere, I really don't have any "don'ts" when it comes to shopping just because you can really find little hidden gems if you look well!

I don't often go into Marshalls, but this past week I had some time to kill throughout my day, so I decided to stop by and browse (my "browsing" usually turns into buying the whole store, haha). Anyways, as I was looking around I came across this little palm leaf romper. As I have said in a previous post, the palm print is really big trend for the summer season and I just couldn't leave the store without purchasing it. The best part was that it was only ($13).... major steal. I paired this tropical look with my metallic slip on sandal. I know I'm a little late into the trend, but I honestly really despised this type of shoe when the hype of it first started. They reminded me of a trail mix eating mountain hiker.....If that makes any sense! But, they're so many different varieties of this specific sandal already, and It really does make any outfit look laid back and chill, plus they're ultra comfortable.

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend, thank you for stopping by!

Rainforest Floral

Maxi Dress c/o Haute Glam Boutique | Tassel Necklace c/o Purple Karma | Sandals: (Old Forever 21) Similar here

It's not everyday you come across a rainforest. I recently discovered this little gem right in Miami, and I was in awe! It was like I was transported to a different place within an hour, and I totally forgot where I was. Sometimes its good to escape and adventure out to places you've never been before!

Anyways, I'm really loving this floral cut out maxi dress from Haute Glam. Being so petite, I often struggle with finding a maxi dress that fits well (length wise). Maxis are so wearable for the days you're just in a rush and want to throw something on quick (especially if its SO hot outside). I'm headed to a mini beach get away for this holiday weekend, and I will be taking this maxi for any beach side dinner! I also added a tassel necklace to this look, because if you haven't noticed yet they're such a major accessory statement for the season. Purple Karma has the cutest variety of tassel necklaces and even some that you can personally customize.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned because I will be back on Monday with a whole new look for Memorial day. Have a fun and safe weekend!

(p.s if you click the "shop my look" link, I have styled a variety of similar looks to this outfit)

Welcome back to the blog! Today I'm bringing you a simple monochrome look that is so wearable for what is left of the spring season, and also could be worn for the upcoming summer season. To me, the black and white trend is one that never goes out of style. It's almost just as of an important staple to own as the "little black dress".

I was given this whole look courtesy of a local Miami boutique, but I'm doing something a little special today....I have listed this whole outfit right onto my Poshmark Closet, and it is available for purchase! I wore this same exact outfit to a Latin Billboards event I had at the start of the award show week. To be honest, when I first heard that culottes were going to be the trend to watch for the spring, I was so bummed because I just hated how they looked on the runways and they reminded me of the old school tacky "gaucho" pants.  But, As usual, don't judge a book by its cover. These style of pants fit amazing! and along with the fit, they are beyond comfortable and breathable (for a more casual look, try paring the culottes with a tucked in denim shirt). So, from the moment I arrived to the event that night, I literally had about 20 people stop me to ask me about the culottes. I definitely think that there are many people who wouldn't take the risk in wearing these types of pants, but I believe me girls, they are so flattering (especially if you're petite!)

How do you all feel about culottes? Would you take the fashion risk and go with the trend?

Get me bodied

Crop Top c/o The Shopping Bag | Jeans: Forever 21 | Heels: Nine West

Whenever wearing a flawless shirt, one must embody Queen B....After all, she did define flawless at the Met Gala recently. Anyways, back to reality...I was so excited when I received this  sassy crop top from The Shopping Bag. At first, I wasn't very sure on how I wanted to style this top, but then I figured to throw on my new favorite jeans and chit chat a little bit about the high waisted jean look.
There's always a scare when it comes to high waisted jeans. Labels such as "Mom Jeans" are often ones that pop into mind while searching for the perfect pair. First off, this type of style denim is made to hip hug all those curves. Secondly, I honestly think if a 5'1 person such as myself can pull them off, you sure can too! Adding height and dimension to this style such as wearing heels or a crop top can give an optical illusion of a slimmer and taller self. (Side Note: crop tops should cover the belly button-please ladies, please.) I always encourage woman to love every thing about their body, because you only get one life in it, and why spend it worried about how high waisted jeans would look on you? Just wear them girl! Rock them, and feel your best in them, #hairtoss to the haters.
Also, I have a very exciting upcoming project with The Shopping Bag, where I was voted to represent my lovely state of Florida in a exclusive style challenge! I cannot wait to share more details with you all, and have the honor of representing the tropical Miami style. But until then, thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous rest of the week!

The Fashion Muse x The Latin Billboards

Welcome back to the blog! Today, I'm excited to share with you some Latin Billboard award show coverage! I was so fortunate to have been able to work along side Telemundo & Orgullosa Latina for this eventful week.

Firstly, I started off the week by attending a private concert Telemundo hosted featuring new and upcoming artists. This event was so fun, because I got to meet these rising artists who some were even nominated at the actual award show.

(Sorry in advance, for the quality of the photos...Camera's weren't aloud into most events, so my iPhone was the next best thing!)

Later along the week, I attended a private concert featuring one of my favorite Latin artist J Balvin  hosted by Orgullosa Latina. Orgullosa Latina Kindly provided me a VIP kit to prepare for the events ahead. The kit included goodies such as; Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner, so my hair would stay nice and hydrated throughout the week. It also included Secret Scent Expressions deodorant in Oh-La-La Lavender, Tampax Radiant, 3D Crest White Strips and even my own personal selfie stick! For those not familiar with Orgullosa, its a fabulous community of Latinas such as myself who empower all types of Latinas by sharing tips, ideas, personal stories, and benefits that Orgullosa exclusively provides.  It was so much fun getting to hear a question and answer session with J Balvin regarding his personal life and career right before the concert began. He sang his hit top charting songs, and even brought a long a special surprise guest with him, Becky G! It was a night full of great music, and dancing, and the best part was, that I got to experience all of it with other fellow Latina bloggers, and Danielle my blogs photographer!
Thank you so much Orgullosa for an amazing night y siempre soy Orgullosa de ser Latina!

Lastly, to complete the week I attended the highest rated Latin Billboard award show yet alongside Telemundo! I got to see the stars unfold on the red carpet, and watched all the performances along with all the award winners of the night. It was actually such an honor to have been able to witness live such an amazing tribute that Jennifer Lopez prepared for the always remembered Selena, which was definitely the most remembered moment of the night.
