As you may know, I have been so into the earthy nude toned palettes when it comes to my wardrobe. I am slowly transitioning everything to the spring mindset, and I feel like I will be wearing a lot of these colors in the upcoming season.

Also, who ever thought these spandex looking two piece sets would be the so "in" thing? I surely didn't, but too bad I LOVE the idea of it. So of course, I had to give my input. This type of look could be a little dangerous (for camel toe reasons...major pet peeve) which no one of us likes to hear about. If I had one major tip about pulling this look off, I'd say: always style it with a cover up (duster coat, trench coat, bomber jacket, etc). Doing this will hide all the stand out spots you may not want to expose in a vulgar way.

Anyways, is it bad that I cannot stop wearing this ultra chic leopard cross body bag?! This was a fab find from IFCHIC. If you do not know what IFCHIC is, it's an online shopping source for the contemporary 21rst century woman and their busy lifestyles. The cool thing about IFCHIC is that on the 24th of every month they have a 24hr only event where you can collect coins (which turns into money) and eventually make purchases off of their site with the coins. Hence, this is how I scored this adorable bag.

Until next post,

Xo.

My hair transformation

This past week I was so lucky to have worked on a very special beauty project alongside Hot Head Hair Extensions, celebrity renown  hair stylist Martino Cartier, and Hair Talk. The "Front Row" hair festival took place in the always trendy Wynwood neighborhood, and I couldn't have been more excited to be the hair muse for the day.

Above you can see the before and after the extensions had been applied to one side. The right side has the extensions without styling, and the left side is my natural hair length. The whole process took about 4 hours, just for the fact that I have SO much hair. Applying extensions is a tedious process, but it's totally worth it at the end.

Hair stylist Martino Cartier, used about 5-6 packs of extensions on me....(he was so overwhelmed by the amount of hair!) Once they were applied, he went ahead and trimmed my hair to the extensions for blending purposes.

After the application process has been done, the fun part came along....the styling! Martino wanted to go for that luscious Hollywood glam type of hair wave. Tip: if you have thick hair like I do, doing waves like these really look great; plus, they add a ton of volume.

These extensions last about 2-3 months (if taken care of properly) and they are 100% real hair. I'm super happy and excited about this transformation & I cannot wait to let you guys see you more of it in other photos.

I really hope you enjoyed this beauty post!

As much as I love color, I can't stay away from neutrals this season. There's something so clean and minimalistic about it that makes it easy for an everyday wear (it's also a basic essential color to add to your closet- it's easy to style to say the least).

I decided to style nude on nude for this look, hoping it wouldn't come off too boring, but nope! It came out to be exactly what I envisioned. Lately, nude has been my go to color and as much as I feel that my skin tone blends in with it (because I'm that ghostly, unless I have a spray tan) I love it! If I go for the nudes, I usually try to pick out the nudes that have a gray undertone to it. There are many different types of undertones to colors, and usually the color gray has like a blush tone beneath it. Also, layering has to played essential part in my wardrobe lately. I've been sticking to the basics, and layering a duster coat with any simple look can really add depth to it. Besides, apparently winter came late to Miami and it's been chilly (50's + 60's) so layering is essential for us Floridians. Now, that's what I call a Miami winter.

Until next post,

It hasn't been since the late 90's that I threw on a pair of overalls. I still love them, and I have made them out to be a "basic" staple in my closet just for the fact that I can style them in so many different ways (hence, why I just wrapped a leather jacket around it). Like, who ever said overalls had to be tacky?!

Ever since I jumped on the Adidas "Superstar" trend, I have not been able to take them off.  If you follow me on social media, you know how I've currently been raving about the whole sneaker trend, and how it has slowly pulled me in. Now, don't get me wrong.... I will NEVER leave my heels behind. Every once in a while, its okay to be chill & give your feet a nice & deserved break.

How do you guys feel about this sporty spice trend?

Hello 2016, bye 2015! The new year is here, and so is a fresh new start. Sorry for my lack of posting since Christmas, but if you follow me on my social media channels you may know I was in NYC. I was luckily able to experience the adrenaline that is Times Square on New Years eve. It was everything I expected it to be.

In other words, I have big hopes for the new year (personally, and for the blog). I am currently working on some really cool projects for The Fashion Muse that I cannot wait to show you all. As for the jetsetter part of me; I aspire to grow and move forward (as a person and in all my business ventures), and to keep inspiring through fashion and beauty. And, I cannot believe this but in 4 short months the blog will be 2 years old! I also jumped on the "happiness jar" bandwagon, and started my own for the 2016 year. I will have an upcoming DIY post on that!

Anyways, as for my outfit. When I received this look, it really reminded me of this outfit Gigi Hadid was recently spotted in. I'm really into these types of pants lately, they're perfect for any girl (such as myself) who is petite and or even curvy! They're so flattering.

I really hope you had an amazing start to the new year! Until next post.
