Hope everyone has had a great Memorial Day weekend. Since MDW officially kicks off the start of summer (even though it's summer year around in Miami) There's no better time to bring out one of my favorite bathing suits ever.

It's really important to invest in a long lasting & high quality bathing suit that you feel your best in. Like I have said in previous posts, Luli Fama can do no wrong. The Miami based brand really takes the time to make sure that every woman wearing one of their pieces looks amazing & confident while sporting a chic suit.

One of my favorite things about wearing this cobalt blue gem (other than it's color), was being able to pair it with this fringed cover up, throwing on a panama hat, and some tie up sandals (I'm just missing the pina colada in hand...) It makes for a totally completely different look. I think it's so fun to "amp" up your bathing suit style with unique pieces. When I shop around for a swimsuit, I firstly get drawn by the details of it and then it's fit.

Patching DIY

For the patches: I firstly organized where I wanted to place them and prepped my iron by placing it on the cotton mode. Then, I went ahead and covered the patch I was going to iron on with a small cotton towel. Once the towel was placed above the patch I ironed it (in circular motions for 30 seconds) TIP:Be very careful with the heat of the iron.

Let it cool: After I finished iroing on the patches I went ahead and turned my jacket inside out. To secure the patches I also ironed through the inside of the jacket. Once finished, it's best to leave your piece hanging over night in room temperature for the best results of cooling.

I used fabric adhesive to glue on the pins that I purchased that weren't patches....Such as the cherries above and the bedazzled hashtag seen below.

Denim Bomber Jacket : Old Navy (Currently on sale 50% off) | Patches: Joanne Fabrics | Other materials used (such as fabric glue, etc): Michaels Craft Store

TGIF! So happy it's finally the end of the week and we have a long weekend to look forward to. Today's post is a little different, but fun! I'm really starting to get into DIY projects, and what a better project to do than patching and share it with you all?!

The latest craze is patched EVERYTHING. From jeans, to jackets, to tops....Stores like Zara and Forever 21 have pieces similar to the one I created above (but of course I had to personalize mine with patches that best described me). These materials and products are really accessible to find and best part, this whole DIY project was under $75! So get your girl friends together, some jeans jackets, patches, and enjoy this fun summer DIY project! (PSA: A little wine wouldn't hurt either)

Products I'm Currently loving

So, I really wanted to get this post up because I get a lot of questions regarding what some of my favorite products are, especially of the moment. It really did give me a good excuse  to go ahead and organize all the new goodies I've gotten lately (I'm a bit messy at times..) Anyways, this is just a quick little run down on these items I have been obsessing over whether it'd be skin care, perfumes, shoes, and even denim!

Banana Republic Blooming Bud Drop Earrings
I just got these yesterday! They're great to pair with a really simple look since they're a statement accessory.

Prada Sunnies via Ditto
Use my code: THEFASHIONMUSE at check out to receive a free 1 month membership of endless designer sunglasses.

Banana Republic Embellished Slide Sandal
I'm so into slide sandals now for the spring & summer. This is the perfect pair in my opinion because they can either go casually or dressed up with a nice spring dress.

Chiffino Sylvia Heel ($28!)
Love these! Have you noticed I'm into nude? Also, these are an affordable dupe style to the Schutz heels.

(From left to right)
Forever 21 Light Blue Beverly Jean ($17!)
Banana Republic Distressed Cropped Denim (use code: BRTAKE40 for 40% off)

Major shades of denim...These three pairs of jeans have been on rotation. You can never go wrong with distressed polished denim.

My ultimate favorite two repeated perfumes of the moment. I've never been a huge fan of the original Chloe scent, but when the "Roses De' Chloe" version came out, I was in love! It's feminine, floral, and clean smelling. (My daytime scent)
Bright Crystal is definitely more empowering and strong lasting. This is why its my (night time scent). It's fresh, and contains pomegranate, musk, peonies, and other fresh blooms. This is a must smell if you haven't tested it yet!

NUXE has easily become one of my favorite skin care lines. This new collection helps enhance your skins natural beauty before layering on the makeup. I've been using them daily, and I can definitely tell the difference in my skin. It feels fresh and rejuvenated.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
Believe me when I say this product is magic! Have you ever had an annoying blemish appear out of no where? This drying lotion has been my holy grail for that exact problem. A little bit can go a long way. I usually apply and leave on over night and when I wake up in the morning the blemish is no longer there.

This another current product I have been living off lately. This cream protects your hair against heat, reshapes hair, and styles all in one. I apply this to my hair when it's damp before I blow dry and straight iron or use the curling wand. You always want to have a product like this around because you never want to expose and damage your hair to heat.

I hope you enjoyed my current favorites of the moment. What are yours?

Until next post,

Yellow Mesh Mini

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Dress c/o Blush & Breezy | Heels: Old (Similar Here) | Sunnies: Prinzzesa Boutique (only $15!-love all the other colors too)

Photography: Christine Michelle

I wanted to firstly thank you all for the sweet & positive comments towards my two year blog anniversary & it's post! I had planned to post this outfit beforehand, but everything got complicated and in a blink of an eye my two year was right in front of me.

I've been so excited about posting this gem. To be honest, I never thought I'd be wearing a yellow dress....Yellow has to probably be my least favorite color & I didn't own anything in this shade up until now. By the way, I've been spotting these bright shades of yellow everywhere for the spring & summer...(who knows, I may or not be falling for this color now). I'm a lover of mixed prints & fabrics, just like the mesh & chevron pattern detaling on this dress. I had first posted this dress on my snapchat, and got so many question on it. If you're wondering, it's not see through in anyway! That's just what I like to call the "illusion" of the dress. It also looks like a two piece set (which I love). But,what first sold me on this look was the high neck it had. It gave me this whole vintage feel. With that said, when I first received it I knew I wanted to give it an edge (like I always tend to do) since this dress can also be played up in a sophisticated way.

What are some of your current favorite spring trends?

Until next post,

Pop the bubbly, and bring out the cake (& kitty ears) because it's a slumber party celebration! This upcoming Sunday will be two years since I started this journey. So cliché to say, but it really does feel like it all happened yesterday. Within these two years, I have grown & blossomed as a person and as a blogger. It's crazy how creating something for yourself can expose you do all these amazing experiences with hard work and constant dedication. So happy I get to call this work, and surround myself with a team of people who share my same visions.

As always, major thank you to all of the readers & followers who (some I've been lucky enough to meet) constantly provide me with support. I love you!

Happy Birthday Fashion Muse.....
