There's nothing I love more than a good statement tee. We are living through a time where statements are called for, and where powerful movements are inspiring. 

I believe there are amazing ways to showcase what you stand for, one of them being through fashion. With that said, there are so many life altering movements that are happening now, and I couldn't be anymore grateful to be living through a time like this. I own up everyday to the fact that I am a Latina and an empowering millennial with a self made company to my name. Woman are no longer a minority.

A rushed Outfit

I wake up most mornings with a packed day and a schedule awaiting me. On some days I feel really inspired on a certain look (these are the days I have time to get ready), and some days I'm in such a rush that I have no idea what I'm going to wear! I know I cant be the only one that tells herself "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!". I often get asked how I look so put together all the time, here's my trick.....

I used to get a lot anxiety over this issue, but as time went on I realized it's not about having nothing to wear - it's about having the right items to wear. I have definitely built up my closet to have basic essentials, and pieces that aren't so "on trend". Believe it or not, you can style up a look with just basics and look completely chic and relevant. 

For this look I went with two basic essentials I already had in my closet; a blazer and a pair of denim. In this case, I wanted my blazer to be oversized just for styling purposes (I love everything oversized lately). To add a pop of what's currently trending, I added the pearl embellished crop top, the edgy booties, and of course - the cabbie hat! It took me no more than 10min to throw this look on and head out the door for a meeting.
