I really love easy & classic outfits. This is the last look I was unfortunately able to shoot during the craziness of Miami Swim Week. I really wish I could have created more content, but my schedule this year was a little crazy! As it is, I was luckily able to meet with Christine (my amazing photog) during this 15 min break I had in between running from shows and events. I really made it a point to post this look because I got so many questions on the whole bandana trend!

I had been looking everywhere for the perfect bandana, and simply came to the conclusion why get so complicated? It's a bandana! Who ever thought they would have a major trend break through now? I surely didn't.....But I had to try it. I found this one at Forever 21 exactly, and it was only $4! Simple trending accessories like these can really tie up the whole look to chic perfection. I've already worn this bandana with a totally different look (white jeans & a white tee - specifically) and it was definitely an accent that made a difference.

(P.s) regarding my meet & greet event info stated in my previous post, I have linked below the faceboook invite where you can simply RSVP!

Nude Cut Out Mini

| PRODUCT  DETAILS |
Nude dress c/o Blush & Breezy | Sunnies: Zaful ($5!) | Personalized Cuff c/o So Excessive

Photography: Christine Michelle

Yes, that's an actual construction site, and yes I'm putting a mini pause on the swim week looks, just because I was so excited to publish this one specifically! You may be thinking, oh no...not another nude dress.... But, this is actually one of the prettiest nude dresses I own to date!

I'm all about embracing my Latina curves, and this nude cut out mini let me do that exactly. When looking for the right fitting dress, I firstly like to make sure it has "volume". When I say volume, I mean structure. Dresses with structure and angles definitely provide a lot of support, definition, & hug those curves in all the right places!

On another note, for my Miami friends....Miami International Mall will be hosting a special meet & greet with myself on August 13th. I will have further details on the blog (next week) as the date approaches. I'm so excited for this, and it's the perfect opportunity to meet you all in person!

Until next post,

Leafy Swimsuit

| PRODUCT DETAILS |
Swimsuit custom c/o Laki Swimwear | Sandals c/o custom Schutz (not available) | Shorts: Target | Sunnies c/o Zaful  |Pineapple hair pin c/o Tresemme (Similar Here)| Location: AC Hotel Miami Beach

Photography: Christine Michelle

This post officially kicks off my swim week outfit posts! So of course, I had to start out with a swimsuit.

This leafy babe was custom made my Laki Swimwear. All the Laki swimsuits are hand made, which I love! On this specific afternoon, my schedule was packed with outdoor events (all summer inspired obviously). I decided to convert this one piece into a bodysuit & throw on some comfy distressed shorts to go with it. This idea really helped the heat stroke cause, I swear it must have been past 100 degrees out on this Saturday. Key to swim week: go comfortable, manageable, but also trendy.

Also, how freaking cute is this pineapple hair pin? Thanks to Tresemme, I got to rock this adorable detail. Lately, I've been so into hair accents. Even lining up a ton of bobby pins to the side of a sleek pony tail can come off so chic! (These are actually ideas you can come up with when you have short hair like I do).

Star Dress

| PRODUCT DETAILS |
Star Mini Dress c/o Sammy Dress ($16!) | Metallic Sneakers: Call It Spring (On Sale- $20!) | Sunnies c/o Zaful ($5!)

Photography: Christine Michelle

I'm finally back home from Swim Week, and I'm honestly exhausted! So many shows, events, and quick changes in between that I cannot wait to show you guys all the coverage!

But, for now I wanted to really post this look before any of my looks of this weekend got published on the blog. This by far has been one of my favorite little numbers...Like, ever! I always love to keep statement pieces in my closet, and I had been long looking for a funky printed one. If you're thinking "Wow she may be suffocating with those long sleeves in this Miami heat wave..." Think again! The material on this dress is so flowy & breathable. That is the magic of the chiffon type fabric. This entire look is all under $50! Surprise, all the pieces in this post are either on major sale, or just insanely affordable. Who said dressing chic had to be pricey?

By the way, if you noticed....Yes, I did put extensions in for about a week! So throughout the next posts, you will see my hair longer than usual. I did take them off just yesterday though, that is the beauty of extensions! Being able to have short hair one day, and long hair the next. But, I serisously missed my short haircut (so, hence why I removed my extensions so quickly!)

White Mesh with Tobi

| Product Details |
Dress c/o Tobi | Heels: (Old) (Similar Here) | Choker: Stephanie Lian Style

Photography: Christine Michelle

Today, the post is short as swim week maddens here in Miami approaches later this week. I couldn't help but to post one of my favorite looks so far to the blog meanwhile getting ready for the week of events & shows!

I've collaborated with Tobi once more on this strapless shift dress. There are so many ways this dress could be worn, either with knee high sandles or heels (It can be girly or edgy - either way). My favorite feature happens to be the mesh detailing it has. When I first saw it, I fell in love with the fact that it was totally different than any other dress I owned.

There is only one word to describe this dress, chic!

Until next post, I cannot wait to bring all swim week coverage & outfits to the blog next week. Stay tuned lovies!

Sleek Off The Shoulder

| PRODUCT DETAILS |
Off the shoulder top c/o She In | Black denim jeans: Forever 21 | Heels: "So Kate" Louboutin | M.A.B Tote Crossbody Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Choker c/o Stephanie Lian Style

Photography: Christine Michelle

A good statement can speak volumes, even when styled in the simplest way. Off the shoulder tops are all the rage lately, and I loved that the details of this top included bell sleeves and a center opening! Best part, this top is now only $20!...I love when I find versatile looking pieces for such affordable prices.

I really wanted to keep this look sleek and modern, but with a pop of print so that's why I threw on my favorite leopard print Louboutins. Sometimes, it's really difficult to style an outfit to be simple (because, at least for me I keep adding elements into it & it ends up looking overwhelming). With that said, adding in accessories into your not so overwhelming look can really tie everything in together. Along with off the shoulder tops being one of the seasons biggest trends, chokers have also made their place on the list. This specific choker is so chic because it ties right in the center and adds an edge into your outfit.

Modern Twist on a classic dress

| PRODUCT DETAILS |
Dress c/o Tobi ($34!) | Bag: Chanel | Sunnies: Sunglass Up

Photography: Christine Michelle

There is nothing I love more than a black and white piece. As we know, just like the "little black dress" it's also important to have a black & white one hanging in the closet!

When I first spotted this dress on Tobi, it was one that definitely stood out. It's a modern twist on a classic button down collared dress. The layered crop top attached to it is what really makes this classic dress pop! (oh, and it totally gave me Cher Horowitz vibes straight from Clueless).

Lately, I have been incorporating more basic essentials in my wardrobe that I can add my chic flair to. Believe it or not, it's always easier for me to style basic pieces up because they can be so versatile like this dress. I went for a more Parisian look, but you can always kick off the heels and opt for some funky sneakers (or even some platform sandles) to make the look edgier.

Classic pieces are always timeless, even when they involve the right kind of modern twist to them.
