Happy Monday! To start off the week, I wanted to show you one of my favorite looks. So, as soon as I knew I was going to collaborate with Lulu Simon Studio I was sure that I would pick out this sassy tee. Not only does it describe me perfectly, but it's definitely a top that could be worn in many different ways. Lulu Simon has some of my favorite graphic t-shirts ever, as this cute online Etsy shop not only offers a variety of fun tops, but also inspirational wall décor! By the way, I stopped by Tj Maxx last weekend just to browse around, and I left with this little skort. Never under estimate the power of Tj Maxx, it's my little hidden gem.

As you can see, I had so much fun shooting this look inside of a barbershop. I really wanted to add a vintage touch to this whole outfit. You should always be too glam to give a damn! #hairtoss

Gingham Dreaming

There are certain prints that have been around for quite a while and always regenerate through out time and become the trending topic of the seasons & runway shows. Prints like; leopard, camouflage, and most recently gingham! Gingham was all over the most recent spring runways. Lets be honest: At first, Gingham always reminded me of that tacky picnic table cloth. But, the trend has grown on me somehow now I love it because it can be styled in so many different ways! It's so "girl next door". Hence, why I felt like Dorothy mean while shooting this!

I always choose to wear 2 piece coordinates just because I love the idea of having my top match to my bottom. It's also great, because it's versatile. You can easily pair this midi skirt with any other top such as a tucked in t-shirt to give it a more casual feel, and it'll look just as good. If I wear skirts, I usually go with the midi's. Because of my petite frame, midi skirts tend to elongate the body and add a couple of inches (The struggle of being 5'1 is real).

Anyways, enough with the mushy stuff (always over emotional).... This look just screams hello spring! What better way to welcome the new season, than with this easy to wear dress? These days, spring dresses are a major staple to have in my closet. This dress came all the way from this amazing boutique from New Zealand. As you may know already, I'm not huge on over the top accessories, but this necklace was a must and the best part was that I received it in my Rocksbox for the month of February! You can now receive a month free on my behalf, just use code (thefashionmuseblogxoxo) at check out. Also, I have updated my monthly favorites! Check out my March must haves. Enjoy!

What's your favorite spring essential?

Denim Babe

Splurge vs. Steal anyone? Yup, you read right...This same look was recently spotted on the one and only Jennifer Lopez (see here), so as affordable fashion is one of the key ingredients in my wardrobe, I wanted to recreate this look with pieces that are easy access. See below for all outfit details!

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Top: c/o Bella Dahl | Jeans: Old Navy | Shoes: Christian Louboutin | Sunnies: Forever 21 (SIMILAR)

This denim on denim trend has to be one of my favorites, even though I feel like I own so much denim in my closet, I can really never have enough! One of my initial favorite details about this repeating trend, is that it instantly takes me back to the 90's when sporting matching coordinates was the 'thing' to do. Anyways, I couldn't hold back from shooting this outfit this week as it's such a versatile look to be around in. May I say, that these are probably one of my favorite pair of jeans that I own. Thanks to Old Navy, I struggle no more. Being really petite has always been against me, as I always had to deal with taking in the seam of my pants, or even cuffing the inside of jeans just because they were always too long on me. But, with Old Navy's petite section, I have a variety of different denim looks to choose from that would require no alteration! Since I was styling a look with the same color, I wanted to add a pop of print, so I threw on my favorite pair of cheetah Louboutins. If you're looking for a similar shoe, without the splurge (check out these).

Also, I'm loving my new blog setup. Now, you can easily leave comments below. I love reading all your comments & suggestions! Till next post.
