Rain, Rain go away.... The weather here in Miami has been so unpredictable lately with the rain and cold weather among us, I put together a chic look that is easy to wear and "on the go" as I like to call it.

Jumpsuits are one of my favorite essentials to have in my closet. On days where you are in a hurry, or just don't know what to wear, they can really come in handy. This specific jumpsuit is actually perfect because it's double wear! I can easily style this look for any meetings during a rainy day, or dress it up with a trench coat and heels for a chilly night. Long coats have really caught my eye recently, as they can really add elegance to your look. I kept the accessories simple by adding my new favorite pieces from Taudrey. This is definitely a jumpsuit you can wear for the upcoming NYE festivities, just add some sparkle and a killer lipstick to those lips and you're ready to go!

The Fashion Muse x Gap

Collared top c/o Gap | Trouser Shorts c/o Gap | Moto Jacket c/o Gap | Booties c/o Gap

I recently had an amazing opportunity to team up with Gap to bring some special pieces from their new holiday collection to the blog. I stopped by my local Gap store in Lincoln Road to style a seasonal look that I felt any girl could sport during "Miami's winter". As you may know, winter in Miami is nothing but a clear blue sky and chilly day. Lets face it, we all wish we could rock the cute winter clothing when the degrees drop... but unfortunately, we would be melting by the time 12pm came around. So, now thanks to Gap the variety of holiday looks you can pick from are extensive. I decided to go with simple trouser shorts, and a basic white cut off tank to polish up the look. Now onto my favorite piece, the plaid jacket! This plaid baby really topped off the whole entire look by giving it this edgy, chic, and girly vibe. Even though this jacket is a heavy duty one, I would definitely recommend wearing it if you're in a colder location or even just traveling to a destination where the winter may be brutal- It's sure to keep you warm. A statement jacket such as this one, is a basic essential to have in your closet because it can definitely change up any basic look into an eye catching one with the benefit of being able to style it any way you'd like, such as I did! (I always preferably like throwing my jackets over my shoulders for a more grunge look).

Last minute Christmas shopping? I've got you covered! You can now save 40% off on your next purchase at Gap (in store or online). Use the code: "GIFT" at the time of check out for your special discount.

Be sure to stop by your nearest Gap store to shop this look, or to simply just browse through the many more holiday looks from their new collection. Happy shopping, and Tis' the season from the team at The Fashion Muse blog to you, Happy Holidays!

Until next post,

Xo.

Emoji Babe: The Arcade Series

Entire outfit: Electric Boutique

So, we have reached the final post in my collaboration with Electric Boutique. I had so much fun shooting this specific look, just because it's trendy, fun, and fresh. Who said casual looks had to be boring? I wanted to style a wearable casual look, that you can run errands in and still look cute. Lately, I've been loving anything that comes in jogger form, (like these denim ones I'm wearing). Jogger styled pants are easy to wear and super comfy! I really liked how these had the 'distressed' feel to them. Now, onto the top! I'm OBSESSED with it. The fact that it has some of my favorite Emoji faces on it, just made me love it that much more. I hadn't seen a graphic tee like this around, until I saw it on the rack and knew I would be the person to sport a shirt with a whole bunch of faces on it. I also really like muscle tees that have low side cuts because you can always wear it with a nice bralette, or choose the other alternative and not wear anything at all, like I did!

I really hope you enjoyed my "Arcade Series" with Electric Boutique, and a major thank you to Bird Bowl for having me shoot at their location!

Until next post,

Xo.
