Midi Dress c/o Spin Gallery | Sandals c/o Spin Gallery | Necklace: Prinzzesa Boutique (SIMILAR here) | Bag: Los Robles Argentinian Bag (SIMILAR here)

Welcome back to the blog, and happy Monday! Today, I am beating out the Monday blues and getting into my zen mode. With finals week among us college students, relaxation and composure is all we need at this point. This past weekend I took on a little adventure with my amazing photographer/best gal pal, and ventured out to find peace after a stressful couple of weeks. It was really hot (as it has been) so, I wanted to wear something free and light. When Spin Gallery sent me over this midi dress, I was in total awe. This dress has such great features, such as the side slit and the keyhole opening in the back.

Now, for the final touch....the shoes! I really love espadrilles, especially now for the summer. But, I often have issues with espadrilles, just because I find that the soles get unglued quickly, and they start lifting off. So, when I received these, I was so happy to see the quality of the espadrille sole, and how heavy duty it is. I've used them a whole bunch since receiving them, and they are most definitely long lasting!

Also, today I begin my coverage alongside Telemundo leading up to the Latin Billboard awards happening this Thursday! So, I will be bringing you the latest backstage coverage to the blog and to my social media channels. If you don't follow me yet on Instagram, follow me (here) for all the red carpet happenings!

Palm Leaf Sass

| OUTFIT DETAILS |
Crop Top: Forever 21 (SIMILAR) | Skirt: Forever 21 | Heels: Forever 21 |

Palm leaves anyone? I feel like I have been wearing a lot of tropical prints recently. I guess this steamy muggy weather here in Miami has been inspiring me (because, it's been HOT). I recently wore this look to a radio interview, and you guys wanted all the outfit deets, so I figured to post about it!

This palm print has been another one of the prints for the spring & summer that we cannot get away from. It's fresh, clean, and statement making. I paired the skirt up with a crop top, but you can easily wear a basic t-shirt and some chic sneakers and you have yourself an adorable casual look. What do you think about this trend? Hit or miss?

Thanks for stopping by and happy Thursday (It's almost Fri-yay!)

p.s The Fashion Muse will be getting a facelift for its year anniversary coming up, and I cannot wait for you all to see the new design- it's fabulous. I designed it myself, and It will incorporate a bunch of new features, so stay tuned for that.

Summer Glow: Beauty For Real x Aerie for American Eagle

Summer time is just around the corner, and every time I'm headed to the beach or the pool I like to keep my look very simple and effortless. Today's post is a special collaboration with Beauty for Real Cosmetics and Aerie for American Eagle. I've known about this collaboration for some time now, and I was so excited when the products finally launched just because they are all summer time based products, and I wanted to include all my readers into this beauty tutorial. I have linked all product information below!

For any Miami girl such as myself, beach days can mean 'messy hair days'. I have really thick hair, so when I'm by the pool or hanging out at the beach I always like to apply some conditioner to my ends, just for some extra moisture. But, when I received the Sea + Surf Spray I was instantly taken back to a tropical island and left the conditioner behind. Firstly, the smell of this product is heavenly! There's honestly no way of describing the scent, other than saying that it smells like sea salt and coconut. This spray is a styling spray that I like to use right before I head into the water, because it will tame the frizz, and give me that extra hydration to the scalp and to the ends of my hair. I usually spray about 3-4 spritz all around just to make sure I get good coverage. Oh and by the way, this spray is made with real marine water, and meadowfoam sea oil, which will keep your hair nice and healthy.

I don't know about you, but I am majorly OCD when it comes to my skin & the sun. Hence why I like to hardly wear any makeup when I am going to the beach. But, if you're anything like me, I do like to have some coverage which I fix by using a tinted moisturizer and my bronzing Glow Stick. The Glow Stick is such an awesome product because it acquires some tint, but it's a luminizer at the same time.  I love to wear luminizing creams during the summer because it gives my skin a bronzed glow. I like to apply this product specifically to the bridge of my nose (for highlighting purposes), my temples, and a little bit to my upper cheeks. A little product can go a long way with the Glow Stick!

When summer time comes around, my lips tend to suffer and get dehydrated real quick. So, this is why I like to apply some type of moisture to my lips. In this tutorial, I used the Sun Kissed lip gloss in the color (Sun Shine), which has a nice sheer shine and some a nude tint to complete that beautiful glowing look.

My favorite part of this summer collection, is that all the products are very affordable and healthy for all skin types. You can stop by your nearest American Eagle store and pick up one of these Beauty For Real products which are out in stores now and online. I hope you enjoyed this beauty post!

Tropical Vice

 | OUTFIT DETAILS |
CROP TOP: c/o Necessary Clothing | SKIRT: c/o Necessary Clothing | SANDALS: (Similar Here) | BAG: H&M

Happy Monday! Today on the blog, I'm rushing into summer a bit too soon, but if you live in Miami you'd know that it's been scorching hot lately. I can't help but to think of those sunny beach days meanwhile laying under a palm tree & sipping on coconut water. Anyways, lets get tropical! When Necessary Clothing sent me over this little two piece gem in the mail, I was so excited!

First and foremost, you already know...I am a HUGE fan of coordinates, and especially ones that represent Miami's tropical environment so well. This look is so easy & fresh to wear. I would also wear these two pieces separately. The crop top could easily be paired with shorts, or even a nice pair of distressed boyfriend jeans (for the more casual approach). I also thought about how it's "festival season" and since Coachella just passed this weekend  I wanted to give this whole look a touch of boho by incorporating the fringe bag (since fringe is the perfect must have) .

I hope you enjoyed this post, and hopefully I was able to share some of that Miami sunshine with you all. By the way, I will be attending the Latin Billboards along side Telemundo in just two weeks. Stay tuned, as I will be posting my red carpet coverage!

That 70's Chic

The 70’s are back and in full revenge! This spring, the groovy era of the 70’s has been seen up and down the most popular runways. Fringe, wide legged pants, platform heels, and many more trends are making a comeback! This era was viewed for having tacky prints, polyester materials, and unflattering contours in clothing. But, with some modern rejuvenation and a touch of chic, we shall fret no more!

Top & Pants: c/o A Divas Palace Boutique | Heels: c/o Necessary Clothing (I love these too) | Hat: Forever 21 | Sunnies: Dior (Vintage) (Similar here)

So, I have officially jumped onto this 70's trend bandwagon! As for my outfit, I wanted to take the infamous wide legged pant and give it a modern twist by pairing it up with a crop top and some fringed heels. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the pants just because I’m very petite, and with Hispanic curves anything wide figured can make one look heftier. But, PSA to all petite girls out there, pants like these can most definitely elongate and add some height to your frame! I also loved the color on this set because, lately I've been hooked on solid colored neutral's.  By the way,  heels with fringe detailing have to be the season’s biggest statement maker! Usually, we see the bags with fringe as part of the outfits statement, but forget about that! If you've noticed, the reoccurring trend for shoes in spring and summer is the '70's boho vibe  (if that makes sense). I'm totally loving this comeback, how do you feel about this groovy trend?

Happy Monday, and thanks for reading!

Dress: via Poshmark (I love this one and its on sale!) (and this one) | Shoes: Chiffino | Bag: Fabulux Boutique | Jewelry: Pandora Birthday Ring

I was finally able to shoot this little dress! It's been such a busy month, but I had so many requests & questions regarding this same look that I wore to an event I hosted about two weeks ago. But, I also wanted to take the opportunity to talk to you about Poshmark (where I purchased this dress - it was a great steal!) I also linked some similar dresses to this one above.

As you may know, I like to shop everywhere. I'm never reserved to one specific brand or store. So, there's this great service called Poshmark where you can sell your own clothes, shoes, accessories, and even bags while making a profit off of them! Definitely beats giving the items away for free. I came across a buyer selling this specific dress, (which only happened to be worn once) and I loved it! I never do so much print or color all in one outfit, but the detailing and embellishments it has just screamed Easter to me! Right? Well anyways, I'm always an advocate for taking a low costing outfit and making it look like a higher priced one. I mean, that's the point of being a smart shopper right?? Don't get me wrong, I do love my splurges (especially on shoes) but, it's always good to be smart with your money and spend it wisely. I really suggest to take a peek at Poshmark and see what it's all about. Like most of us, we accumulate clutter in our closets and sometimes never really know what to do with it! Says, the girl with the 100 pair shoe collection (and growing - the struggle is real).

I hope you enjoyed todays post! Happy Easter.
