So, it's not a surprise to say that I could literally live in denim...No matter what season it is. Denim has definitely become a staple in which we should at least all own a piece of in our closets. With that said, when I came across this chic coordinating set I freaked! How cute is it?

Since my mindset has already transitioned into spring, I loved the off the shoulder top and the asymmetrical bottom & frayed detailing. Off the shoulder tops will continue to be a big trend this upcoming season. I actually had a hard time figuring out what shoes I wanted to pair with this look. Since it's denim, there's so many ways you can take it in, like casual or a little more dressy. I was going to wear some tan knee high gladiator sandals, but when I styled it all together it just didn't say much to me! Then, I totally remembered I had recently received these denim heels from Shoe Dazzle, but I initially thought it was going to be too much denim. I quickly snapped out of that thought, like really? too much denim? No way! This was the first time I had really come across fully embellished denim heels that didn't look tacky, so ending result.....I loved how it all looked together!

Sadly, I searched everywhere for this coordinating set to link above in the outfit details but it apparently sold out really quickly off the Agaci website. I went ahead and linked some of my other favorite denim looks I would totally rock and hopefully you'd like as well!

As always, thank you for reading!

Mauve Makeup Look

| PRODUCT DETAILS |

We can probably all agree that the shade of the moment is "mauve" in the makeup world. The dusty rose color definitely did not stay in the 90's, as it's everywhere now! I decided to do this super easy makeup look using the colors in the Carli Bybel (one of my favorite beauty bloggers) palette along with its highlights. Although I'm not a huge fan of matching eye shadows with lip colors, I really liked how the ending result looked used in monochromatic form.

I moisturized and primed my entire face before I shot this look. I began with my foundation and concealer on (see products above I used for the face). I moved on straight to the eyes, creating a simple and soft smokey look. The palette doesn't have specific names for it's colors, so it's somewhat hard to describe which ones I used....But, I simply only used three. I firstly covered my eye lid with the second color In the top row of the palette which contains a subtle shimmer. I then moved on to the crease, slowly buffering in first mauve color in the top row (4th color) with a fluffy blending brush. Really take your time blending, it will create an effortless effect without leaving any harsh lines. After I finished the crease I picked up the last color in the top row, which happens to be the darkest mauve shade in the palette. I only applied this shade on the outer corners dragging it up to the crease only a tiny bit. I really wanted to concentrate the darker color on the outer corners. Remember to always blend, blend, blend!

Once my shadows were applied I moved on to falsies. I used my go to lashes the Ardell "Demi Wispies". These lashes are great for any day time look, as they add a subtle flair with a fuller effect. I then applied my L'Oreal voluminous mascara to blend in the lashes with my real ones, and that's it...eyes complete! I always like to shape and contour my face after my eyes are done. To contour, I used the Anastasia Bev Hills cream contour palette. I used colors "banana" & "Havana". For highlight, I tried out the highlight shades that come in the eye shadow palette. I mixed the first and second color on the last row, and applied it to the bridge of my nose, center forehead, cheekbones, and cupids bow. I usually end up looking like a glittery unicorn, but who cares! I love a good highlight.

On to my favorite part, the lips! I have been non stop using this liquid lip color from ColourPop Cosmetics in the shade "Trap". It's the perfect mauve color in which could look good for both any daytime & nighttime look. I'm going to order some more of the liquid lip colors from this brand, because the quality is amazing, and so affordable. I really hope you enjoyed this makeup look! It's the perfect soft look for the daytime if you love the mauve trend like I do.

NYFW Look

Opportunities come and go, some are learning experiences and most are memories made....both interrelating with each other. When the opportunity of attending my first ever New York Fashion Week was presented to me a couple of seasons back, I was quick to underestimate myself and immediately say no to the possibility of attending. In early January, the opportunity presented it self again...It's like God was pushing my boundaries with a purpose. So, with a lot of convincing & planning, I decided to take NYFW by the horns and run with it. I might confess though, I was quite scared, nervous, and all excited at the same time. Nothing could ever prepare you for the madness that is fashion week, it really is madness. With 0' degree weather, this Miami girl embraced the cold and tackled on my event schedule with a very open mind that looking cute in that kind of weather was not easy...But I did it (or at least I think I did...!)

I was fortunate enough to have had collaborated with Forever 21 on this very 70's inspired outfit for one full day of shows & presentations. When I was picking out this look, I really wanted something spring oriented, but with pieces that I wouldn't totally freeze in (I did anyways). I took a risk, and picked out some high waist wide leg jeans because somehow I knew it would look chic & compliment my body at the same time meanwhile adding height. Don't let this look fool you though, I was fully layered underneath (thermal leggings, boots, you name it- I had it all on under.)

NYFW was definitely one for the books, and I'll be happy to be back in September for the next one (gladly, it wont be as cold). I met so may amazing people and fellow bloggers who are from all around the world all sharing one common thing, the passion for what we do! I hope you enjoyed this look, and remember to always have confidence in your talent & love.....Saying no to opportunities because of fear, can really have you missing on bigger and greater things!

Being only 22 years old doesn't mean anything when it comes to love or experiences that involve that complicated & beautiful four lettered word, its just a number. I always say that if I had the opportunity to write a self help book for woman I totally would. My self help book would consist of everything and anything you would usually chat about with your best gal pals. Surprisingly, I have had so many situations & experiences that have brought me to where I am today with words happiness & love that I am not shy about expressing. I always find my self sharing my opinions & thoughts with my friends when it has come to their relationships and such. But, what about myself? That question always came across my mind whether I was helping my girlfriends, or in a relationship. Ladies, moral of the story...learn how to take care of your needs, understand what they are, and most importantly love yourself. When you have come to peace with all you have to offer as your true self, everything else will fall in its place.

Anyways, whether you are single this valentines day or sharing it with your forever love....Every girl needs a powerful red outfit in their closet they can pull out on occasions like this. I know, I know...Sooo cliché of me to wear red on cupids holiday, but I really couldn't stay away from it. I love jumpsuits that elongate the body with the fit of the pants. Also, how adorable is this piñata? I teamed up with newly launched Miami based company, Surprise Piñata! They offer a one of a kind service, where they deliver piñatas at your doorstep for any special occasion or person. Be sure to check them out, I love any local start up!

I hope you have a happiness filled Valentines day with your loved ones. Stay updated on my social media channels as I will be heading to NYC for NYFW.

This past weekend I was invited to attend a Soul Cycle 10 city pop-up event alongside Target. Happily, Miami was one of the stops on city tour and it was my first time attending a Soul Cycle class! I must say, I was a little nervous...And did I mention the classes were free for anyone who walked in and signed up for a workout?!

Thanks to Target, I was able to sport my C9 Champion gear to the workout and feel like a champion. Upon arriving to the pop- up location in Wynwood, I was able to check out the limited edition line that Target collaborated with Soul Cycle on (hence: where I bought these ultra comfy hoodie). I loved all the workout gear in the collection and just had to leave with a little piece of it.

From Khloe Kardashian to Bradley Cooper this celebrity loved workout has made its way across the nation as an inspiring movement. If you have never attended a Soul Cycle class, you may have just thought it was an average spinning class like the ones in a local gym. This was something incredibly different....With an intense motivational instructor, dimmed lights surrounded by candles, and an exhilarating play list your soul will most definitely be & feel cleansed while burning the calories. Although I must say I am still sore from the 45 min workout, it's always amazing having an instructor who pushes you through a workout and makes you feel stronger & valued. You know its a productive workout when you leave looking like you jumped in a pool....(of sweat)

If you're a Miami resident and would like to give Soul Cycle a try, here are the studio locations:

COGA
Shops at Merrick Park
Coral Gables, FL 33146

SOBE
2325 Collins Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139
