I think this dress says it all....It's a major statement piece. Cape incorporated outfits have been a trend for quite a bit. We've seen cape blazers, cape inspired tops, jumpers, and even cape insired dresses such as the one I wore.
I really wanted to keep the whole look neutral just because I wanted it to be focused on the dress itself. One of my favorite parts has to be the back detailing and how it really flatters it in a nice way (I'm a total sucker for pieces that have an exposed back). Quick styling tip for the ladies: when you have a dress with a tricky material (such as latex) wearing proper undergarments are the key! I always like to wear spanx because I'm SO OCD about the fit of the material on me. Spanxs really smooth everything out (& funny enough, I totally forgot to wear mine when I shot this).
