I've always been a fan of the classic button down shirt. I mean, there's so many ways it could be styled! But, most recently I've seen many remakes and twists to the classic top every woman should have in her wardrobe (& man!)

Depending on your everyday life style, these type of style shirt dresses can be worn for various occasions because of it's classic fit, and fun detailing (like the waist tie & mixed print).
And lets be honest here, sometimes we really need to add a small detail to an outfit in order to salvage it. Hence, why I decided to style this shirt dress in a more edgy manner. Sometimes a certain piece can really amp up the entire look. Without the leather bralette & the tie up flats, the entire styling looked very vague. Using and adding details (if needed - don't over add detail or accessorize, it can kill a look) to an outfit can take it 0 to 100. As for personal preference, my style is always a little more distressed and effortless so this is the only way I am able to make outfits custom to my liking. Although, for those who love the more classic look, styling a dress like this with a simple sneaker or even pump can make a huge difference. Details are everything, they could make or break a look!
