#TGIF I'm really excited for todays post because I got so many questions regarding this look when I posted the sneak peek of it! If there is one item I've been shopping for the most recently, it would have to be any type of shift or t-shirt dress. I'm pretty sure I have a section in my closet just for these simple fast to throw on dresses. Minor disclaimer: (t-shirt or shift dresses run really small usually, I would suggest going one size up from your original size)
Not only does this sassy ruffled number make my day, but umm.. have you seen these heels?! They reminded me of something Cher in Clueless would wear. These babies are hand made and customized by a fellow blogger friend. If you're wondering, you can snag a pair and even make them your own by creating them the way you want. Make sure to visit her Etsy shop for more designs.
I also wanted touch upon a little subject that I've often been getting asked about with being a fashion blogger specifically. And, since this statement dress states "broke" I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to mention it. When I first started my blogging journey, it was sometimes difficult to photograph weekly and style an outfit straight from my closet because I felt like I didn't "have enough". Truth is, up until this day I style older pieces and incorporate them into newer ones. So, for the ones that always wish or plan to have an upcoming fashion blog, don't let not having enough discourage you. We all have to start somewhere, and those last season pieces could possibly be new season gems!
